Important Notice: Christmas/New Year Office Closure:

We would like to inform you in advance that our Office and Administration will be closed during the upcoming Christmas/New Year period.

  • Closure: 4pm Friday, 19th December 2025

  • Reopening: 9:00am Tuesday, 6th January 2026

While our administration team is unavailable during this period, please note that our sales representatives remain accessible as usual for urgent matters. If you are unsure of their contact details, you can find them at www.pmmetro.com.au under the "Meet the Team" section.

Important Settlement Agents advice for Settlements DEC/JAN: 

Please be aware that the Christmas/New Year period presents certain challenges for settlements, including:

  • Banks operate with reduced staffing

  • Settlement Agents working with the banks are typically closed

  • The Office of State Revenue halts processing of First Home Owner Grants

  • Tradespeople, removalists, and other essential services are harder to secure

These factors can significantly complicate settlements scheduled during this period. 

To alleviate potential stress and avoid complications, the following clause will be included in all upcoming contracts:

 

 

Notwithstanding any other term in this contract, if the Settlement Date is scheduled to occur between Tuesday, 16th December 2025 and Wednesday, 7th January 2026 (inclusive), settlement shall instead occur on the next business day following this period, being Thursday, 8th January 2026. However, settlements may proceed on 16th December 2025, allowing a three-day grace period if required.

 

 

This clause is designed to protect all parties from penalties should settlement be delayed due to the holiday closure. Our aim is to ensure a smooth process for all concerned by including this clause in contracts for the remainder of the year or as a variation when necessary.

Final Inspections for Early January Settlements: 

For settlements scheduled from Thursday, 8th January 2026 onwards, our Selling Representatives will begin conducting final inspections starting approximately Monday 5th January 2026. You may be contacted well in advance to pre-book your inspection.
